Of course, the more frequent your safaris are the better chance of seeing the Lord of the Jungle – the tiger!The architectural design of the guests blocks are built to resemble an English country village and the guest rooms have walls made of “cut and dressed” river stones, chimneys, high bamboo ceilings and wooden trellises. The interior is spacious, dimly lit and decorated with a Buddha and paintings of wildlife and birds, which contributes to a wonderful sense of serenity and calm. Situated in the midst of a mango orchard, the entire feeling is that of a truly upmarket wildlife resort, similar to those in South Africa, but within easy reaches of those residing in the capital of India! The Golghar, a pagoda -shaped octagonal building, is a magnificent structure built with “cut and dressed” river stone, high bamboo ceilings layered in 3 tiers and terracotta roofing tiles supported by 8 huge tree trunks of more than 80 feet in height! All building materials are procured locally, making it blend in with the surroundings. Definitely a place for a few quiet moments with your family or get together with friends, it offers all-day dining, exciting bar menu and finger licking snacks by the huge fire place.The Sundeck - Jutting into the river front, this splendid sundeck is an ideal spot for relaxing and enjoying the cool breeze, sunrise and sunsets.
