We value your trust and aim to be transparent about how cancellations and refunds are handled for safari bookings made through Corbett Destination Safaris.
1. Cancellations by the Customer
• More than 15 days before safari date:
• 90% refund of the booking service charges only (Government safari permit fee is non-refundable).
• 8–14 days before safari date:
• 50% refund of the booking service charges only.
• 7 days or less before safari date:
• Safari permits are typically non-refundable as per CTR rules. Refunds if applicable will for CTR & Agency policy.
2. Cancellations by the Forest Department
If the safari is cancelled by the Forest Department (due to weather, safety, or official orders):
• Government permit fees are non-refundable as per Uttarakhand Forest Department policy.
• We will refund 100% of our service charges within 7 business days.
• You may choose to reschedule to another available date/zone (subject to permit availability and additional charges, if any).
3. Cancellations by Corbett Destination Safaris
If we are unable to confirm your booking due to non-availability of permits or operational issues:
• A full refund of the amount paid to us (permit fee + service charges) will be processed within 7 business days.

5. Refund Process & Timelines
• Refunds are processed via the original payment method only.
• Depending on the payment provider, refunds may take 5–10 business days to reflect.
6. Important Notes
• Safari permits are issued in the name of the customer by the Uttarakhand Forest Department and are non-transferable & non-refundable.
• Government rules and regulations will always take precedence over our policy.
• We do not charge any hidden fees—any deductions are clearly mentioned above.
